We were entertained by horticulturalist Fergal Fitzpatrick from Ballybrophy, Laois. Fergal gave an inspiring demonstration on planting up window boxes and hanging baskets. He showed us how to take cuttings and we were amazed by the plants he brought in which were only two leaf cuttings a year ago. We got recipes for natural fertiliser and pest control.
