Siobhán McInerney and Geraldine McCarthy – (November, 2024)

What a wonderful night at the club last night. We had two ladies from Charleville Flower Club as demonstrators.

It was stand-up comedy combined by floral art from Siobhán McInerney. Then Geraldine McCarthy entertained us with interesting facts relating to her arrangements.

The demonstration was entitled ‘Fireworks’

It was a terrific night. Thanks ladies.

: Celebrating Diwali, Festival of Lights – a Hindu religious ceremony.

: A wreath to celebrate the martyr St. Lucia, Scandinavia. She wore a wreath on her head with candles so that she could carry food to Christians in hiding. Geraldine couldn’t help introducing a little red ribbon to remind us that she is from Cork!

Eva and Maura – (October) 2024

What a wonderful night at the club in October. Eva Holmes and Maura Hickey entertained us with some colourful arrangements.

We are so lucky to have two award winning ladies who are always so helpful and encouraging to members of Kilkenny Flower Club.

What wonderful results in AOIFA’s National Competitions for 2024. Kilkenny Flower Club’s members won top prizes for their exhibits. Eva Holmes got first place in Class 10 – ‘At the Opera’,

Maura Hickey got first place in Class 4 ‘Aerial View’,

Eva Holmes got first place in Class 9 ‘A moment of Beauty’
