We are very happy to announce that Kilkenny Flower Club’s Plant Sale and Coffee Morning was a terrific success once again.

We were so lucky with the weather, no rain until it was finished.

A big thank you to the hard working committee and members who were busy potting up plants and baking many and varied delicious cakes. Thank you to everyone else who contributed plants.

A special thank you to Eddie who once again was on traffic control and indeed did many jobs behind the scene.

The chosen charities will be delighted with our contribution.

The Plant Sale and Coffee Morning held in Dunmore Hall on Saturday May 25th in aid of the charity ‘As I Am’ and Kilkenny Flower Club was a resounding success, even surpassing last year’s event.

We had a vast selection of plants and an equally impressive array of cakes and buns. Many attendees went home not only with beautiful plants but also with plates of delicious baked goods. Thank you to ‘Gardiner’s World SOS’ and ‘Easter Island Garden Centre’ for their contributions.

A big thank you to all who donated plants and cakes, and to those who purchased them. We also appreciate everyone who helped prepare the plants, the hall, served teas, washed up, and cleaned up at the end of the event.

Once again, The Community Centre at Dunmore proved to be the perfect venue. The motto of our club is ‘Friendship through Flowers’, and Saturday truly embodied this spirit. Thank you to all our friends for their contributions.

An enjoyable night was had by all who took part in the imposed night recently.

Members of Kilkenny Flower Club enjoyed an outing to a private garden and Lafcadio Japanese Gardens recently.

A most enjoyable day was had by all.

Kilkenny Flower Club committee was thrilled with the turn out for yesterday’s Plant Sale and Coffee Morning. It turned out to be bigger and better than last year.

There was a huge selection of plants and indeed a huge selection of cakes and buns too.

As well as going home with lovely plants many people went home with a plate of georgous cakes or buns too.

‘As I Am’ is the charity who will benefit from the proceeds of the day.

We would like to say a big ‘Thank You’ to all who made the day such a success.
