Kilkenny Flower Club invited members and friends to partake in the virtual flower arranging ‘competition’ for June.
‘Shapes and Textures’ A Tapestry/Pave design – An Exhibit
Plant material and other components are placed in groups of type close to the surface of floral foam or other mechanics.
This design is usually done in a low waterproof container.
Small amounts of different and unusual materials are used. Some examples are Moss, Lichen, Bark, Driftwood, Seed heads, Pebbles, Shells, Sisal, Fruit, Fabric, Fresh flowers and Foliage.
